I'm most interested in story as defined by author Lisa Cron, "A story is how what happens affects someone who is trying to achieve what turns out to be a difficult goal, and how he or she changes as a result." As opposed to just a plot synopsis, I'm most interested in how the events of a movie or TV affect the protagonist.

Scott is a director, writer and producer of genre and drama who strives to tell stories about outsiders and from outsiders’ perspectives.
Born and raised in Overland Park, KS, Scott grew up making movies on Hi-8 video cassettes, short films that were broadcast on local public access TV.
He attended Kansas State University, graduating at the top of his class with honors from the school of journalism.
After college, Scott moved to Hollywood and began accruing entertainment experience, starting with high profile internships at Lionsgate and at Blumhouse, where he worked for and drove the fabled mobile-office van of CEO Jason Blum.
Scott has worked in talent management and production at Awesomeness TV and Management 360 (GAME OF THRONES), and in film finance and acquisition at Black Bear Pictures (THE IMITATION GAME). His short films have been invited to and won awards at international film festivals including Cannes NEXT.

After submitting your material, please allow 3-4 weeks to receive proposed times for scheduling your call with the exec.

Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your registration for a refund or Roadmap gift card if you have not yet submitted your material for review. However, once your material has been received by Roadmap, your registration cannot be canceled. Having revised material or a desire to retroactively apply a discount or gift card code are not grounds for cancellation, refunds, or gift card credit. Once your material has been submitted, the only acceptable grounds for cancellation and a refund or gift card credit is an unforeseen, ongoing emergency on the part of either the writer or the exec resulting in more than 6 weeks without any scheduling update from the exec via direct contact or Roadmap, or a sudden change in the exec's ongoing availability. In the instance of an irreconcilable scheduling issue, the writer may still receive a written feedback report from the exec. In this case, the writer is not entitled to a refund or gift card credit as the exec has read the submitted material and provided written feedback in lieu of the call.
