What to Expect
It's important for every writer to have a solid script AND to show executives that they are collaborative and professional to work with. Limited to only 5 writers, these 2-week Rewrite Clinics are designed to give writers an opportunity to develop a solid script and collaborate with an industry professional.
The executive will read your script and in an online roundtable with only 4 other writers, you will have 25 minutes to receive notes from your executive, get to know them, and let them get to know you!
Then you will have a week between sessions to revise your pages and in the second roundtable, you'll have another 25-minute meeting to talk about the submitted revisions.

Cancellation Policy
You may cancel for a full refund up to 72 hrs. prior to the start of the class. Cancellations requested after this deadline will be ineligible for refunds.

Concept first, showing you can take a simple idea and infuse great characters with an exciting journey is key. I want to know the story engine and how we can keep the series going. For a feature, pitching how the main character changes from beginning to end.
Currently interested in half-hour or hour long phycological dramas for cable/streaming/network. Any female-driven dramas for feature or TV. LGBTQIA+ dramas for feature or TV. Any Adult Animation TV for streaming. More interested in ideas that would cater to 18-35 year old's.
Not the biggest on comedy, romance, family/children, crime, period pieces, war, supernatural, or faith-based.
Shannon Sons is a graduate from The Sidney Poitier New American Film School at Arizona State University where she focused on producing. Upon graduating she moved to Los Angeles, California and started as an intern with 3 Arts Entertainment in the fall of 2022. After a month of interning she was hired on to be a full-time floating assistant. She spent one year as a floater before being plucked out of the mailroom to assist a founding partner of the company, Erwin Stoff. Shannon is passionate about drama screenplays, specifically psychological thrillers and science fiction.
Immediately after registering, you will receive an Order Confirmation email that serves as the receipt for your registration. In the Order Summary section of this email you will find a link reading "CLICK HERE FOR INSTRUCTIONS" that will take you to your syllabus, instructions for submitting material (if any), and the link to join the Live Class. Sessions are conducted via video conferencing software ZOOM. You will receive a link to the recording of the session via email following the live session.
