Helping writers realize their vision/ideas onto the page and to hone their own unique voice. I'm open to a wide variety of genres and writers from different backgrounds, whether you're just dipping your toes in writing a pilot or feature for the first time, or whether you're rewriting/polishing your script for staffing or to land a manager/agent.
Evelyn Yves is a TV and feature writer who's written across a wide range of genres, from the CW's musical dramedy, KATY KEENE to MAX's hit YA/horror series, PRETTY LITTLE LIARS: ORIGINAL SIN. Most recently, she was a co-producer on the upcoming Netflix limited series, THE PERFECT COUPLE, starring Nicole Kidman and Liev Schreiber.
Born in Singapore and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia, Evelyn grew up surrounded by crazy rich Asians while her parents were going broke. With nothing more than a dollar and a dream, she moved to Los Angeles at 17, navigating the murky, shark-infested waters of Hollywood, higher-ed, and the U.S. immigration system. Having lived like both families on PARASITE, she uses her unique insight to tell David & Goliath stories about underdogs taking on big institutions.
She has been a top-5 finalist at the Austin Film Festival's AMC One-Hour Drama category and had her first taste of a writers' room while breaking stories on THE WEST WING in Aaron Sorkin's MasterClass. Her big break came through the Warner Bros. Writers' Workshop, which got her staffed on her first show.

Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your registration for a refund or Roadmap gift card if you have not yet submitted your material for review. However, once your material has been received by Roadmap, your registration cannot be canceled. Having revised material or a desire to retroactively apply a discount or gift card code are not grounds for cancellation, refunds, or gift card credit. Once your material has been submitted, the only acceptable grounds for cancellation and a refund or gift card credit is an unforeseen, ongoing emergency on the part of either the writer or the exec resulting in more than 6 weeks without any scheduling update from the exec via direct contact or Roadmap, or a sudden change in the exec's ongoing availability. In the instance of an irreconcilable scheduling issue, the writer may still receive a written feedback report from the exec. In this case, the writer is not entitled to a refund or gift card credit as the exec has read the submitted material and provided written feedback in lieu of the call.
