Drew Smith is the creative executive at Unique Features founded by Bob Shaye and Michael Lynne, who have produced dozens of high profile films including: A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET films, THE LORD OF THE RINGS Trilogy and the AUSTIN POWERS films. At Unique, Drew is responsible for bringing in project ideas, exposing the company to new talent, and providing insight on current projects to better reach a worldwide audience. Prior to joining Unique, he was the manager of acquisitions at The Steel Company and brokered deals on behalf of some of the biggest international distributors at film markets including Cannes, Berlin, and Toronto.

Dan Ingram
Creative Executive

 

After graduating from Missouri State University with a degree in Mass Media, Dan Ingram moved to Los Angeles where he received his MFA from New York Film Academy in Screenwriting. After briefly working in reality television, he was hired by the President of Production for De Laurentiis Company as Creative Executive during the run of the hit NBC series HANNIBAL.

Kevin Nicklaus

Kevin Nicklaus is an executive with a background in film and television development leading Tapas comic IP into film and Television. Currently, he is working with such partners as A+E Studios, Disney Branded, Weed Road, 3Pas and Madison Wells Media on actively pitching film and TV concepts based on Tapas IP.

Most recently with a production company based at Warner Bros., responsible for the department, but with a personal focus on film, television, podcasts and video games. His previous work has also helped to produce series such as BATES MOTEL (A&E) and PENN & TELLER: BULLSHIT (Showtime) and event limited series such as the recent, reimagined, Emmy-nominated ROOTS (History, A&E, Lifetime), which featured Rege-Jean Page, Laurence Fishburne, Forest Whitaker, and Anika Noni Rose and was produced with Will Packer and LeVar Burton, Stephen King’s SALEM’S LOT (TNT), THE MISTS OF AVALON (TNT), HELTER SKELTER (CBS), SYBIL (CBS), A WILL OF THEIR OWN (NBC), THE BAD SEED (Lifetime) and more.

Sean Pope

Sean Pope works with producers and production companies focusing on all aspects of production legal services from development to distribution, with a particular focus towards documentaries and docu-series.

He serves as production counsel for Emmy award-winning companies Boardwalk Pictures (CHEF'S TABLE, CHEER) and Scout Productions (QUEER EYE), as well as Caliwood Pictures (A NICE GIRL LIKE YOU) and The Solution Entertainment Group (KILLERMAN, LINE OF DUTY, HONEST THIEF). Other recent highlights include 2021 Tribeca Film Festival titles ACCEPTED,  CLAYDREAM and NO MAN OF GOD and A.V. Rockwell’s directorial debut A THOUSAND AND ONE.

Sean enjoys being a part of teams that help elevate unconventional stories, and he delights in sharing his experience with young producers, writers and lawyers when he has the opportunity. 

Sandino Moya-Smith
VP of Production
MGM

Sandino Moya-Smith is the VP of Production at MGM where he is currently working on the upcoming films No Time To Die, Respect, and Samaritan. He was previously VP of Production at Limelight Entertainment where he put together Palm Springs (2020) and was a Production Executive at June Pictures, where he worked on films including The Florida Project (2017), Book Club (2018), Wildlife (2018), and Dude (2018). Prior, he worked for Gary Ross on such films as The Hunger Games (2012), Free State of Jones (2016), and Ocean’s Eight (2018). Sandino is Indigenous Mexican and the son immigrant farmworkers turned civil rights advocates who instilled in him at an early age the power of using your voice for change. He received his degree in Cinema from San Francisco State University in 2008.
