If readers aren’t grabbed by your story in the first 15 pages, they may not keep reading. Submit the first 15 pages of your script and have a 15-minute story notes call with the executive of your choice. This call will help you create a strong opening/act one to keep readers going until FADE OUT.

What's your story about? Can you answer that question in just 1-2 sentences? A good movie concept will never make up for shallow one-dimensional characters, so who are your characters and what do they want? Your idea for a movie might be cool, but if I don't care about the characters I won't want to go on the journey with them.
Always interested in true stories, and stories with strong characters.

He has led the research for numerous film and TV adaptations, and helped develop dozens of true-story and original projects from first idea to polished screenplays for studios and networks including Netflix, MGM, Sony, Warner Bros. and more. Guy Walks has more than 50 projects in development. Before working for Guy Walks Into A Bar, Seth worked on the documentary Work & Happiness with Ignite Studios, distributed by PBS. Seth is a graduate of The King's College, NYC. Seth currently resides in Brooklyn.
