Terra is also a professional proofreader and line editor, and a staffwriter on Season 2 of FORNICAKES -- an award winning webseries about two polar opposite best friends who open up an erotic bakery. As a writer, a craft and psychology nerd, and a Virgo with OCD, she loves to use her detail obsession to benefit story development. She's been to 35+ countries, has a B.A. in Political Science, and when she's not connecting awesome creative people with other awesome creative people, she's writing, or thinking about writing. Terra also enjoys boba tea, stand-up comedy, and breaking down shows and movies in preparation to launch a totally adorable yet ruthless living room podcast with her roommate Alex Davies.

Julie Winograd is an independent producer and experienced development executive. She has worked in partnership with numerous companies in both film and television, including Amazon, AMC, Disney+, Hulu, Peacock, 20th Television, UCP, Universal International, and WBTV.

Among Winograd's specialties is her experience in IP adaptation. She previously served as the Director of Development, Live Action Film & TV at IDW Entertainment, where, in addition to developing and producing adaptations of existing IDW properties, she worked alongside IDW Publishing to create new properties, building cohesive story worlds and developing engaging stories to be told across multiple mediums, including, film, TV, and print. Prior to IDW, Winograd served as Manager of Development at Circle of Confusion Television Studios, a joint venture between Circle of Confusion and ITV Studios America. Winograd began her career in creative development at Kevin Misher's Misher Films, where she worked on projects including FIGHTING WITH MY FAMILY and RICHARD JEWELL.

Simon Sager is a non-binary, gay filmmaker whose previous written and directed works The Assessment, The Kid, Chasing Neptune and Bolero have garnered multiple awards including several student Emmys and festival play in 30 states and 10 countries. Simon currently serves as a Development Executive at Chatrone who's credits include THE BOOK OF LIFE, GABBY ESTRELLA, BA DA BEAN, and AZTEC BATMAN. At Chatrone, Simon is currently helping to develop over 20 projects with networks like Netflix, Discovery, Warner Brothers and Nickelodeon. Perviously, Simon worked in development at Fabrik (THE KILLING< BOSCH, BURN NOTICE) and Grey Matter Productions (YES DAY, THE LAUNDROMAT, JUNO) and graduated from Chapman University with an MFA in film production. Simon can currently be found sitting in Los Angeles traffic, pretending it's the enchanted forest of their native Flagstaff, Arizona.

Kimberly Montini produced her first feature, FAT GIRLS (2006) alongside the late Ash Christian of Cranium Entertainment. She has continued to produce and develop several projects with Cranium Entertainment. Cranium has several projects currently in development and pre-production. Most recently Cranium produced, CHICK FIGHT starring Alec Baldwin and Malin Akerman in theaters and streaming online starting November 13th. The goal of Cranium Entertainment is to develop and produce interesting and thought-provoking feature films for both specialized and mainstream audiences.

As a producer and manager of actors, writers and directors, Nicholas Bogner has vast experience in all areas of television and features. He has been an executive for major feature companies (such as Cruise-Wagner and for actor/producer Michael Dougas) as well as a television network (TNT) and also has two produced credits as a screenwriter, The Little Death and No Strings Attached. He also produced Soccer Mom starring Emily Osment (The Kominsky Method, Hannah Montana) and Missi Pyle (Jumanji, The Artist, Gone Girl) for Starz and Anchor Bay. Most recently, he produced A Nice Girl Like You (based on a non-fiction book by Ayn Carrillo- Gailey) which stars Lucy Hale (Katy Keene, Fantasy Island, Pretty Little Liars) and Jackie Cruz (Orange Is The New Black).

Bogner runs the literary branch of the management/production company Affirmative Entertainment. Bogner has sold features and pilots and pitches to the major studies and networks. Most recently, several clients have had their films produced: Wedding Season on Netflix; the theatrical film Infinite Storm starring Naomi Watts and Billy Howle; and Refuge, which is currently in post and is directed by Renny Harlin. Additionally, Bogner is attached to several other projects, including James Ellroy’s book Clandestine.

Prior to producing and managing, Bogner served as vice president of original programming for Turner Network Television (TNT) for seven years. In this capacity, he was responsible for the development of all long form – including two-hour movies, backdoor pilots, and mini-series. Bogner worked on several high-profile projects including Steven Spielberg’s twelve-hour mini Into The West as well as Stephen King’s Salem’s Lot. Beyond these projects, Bogner shepherded over 15 movies into production.

Prior to assuming his position at TNT, Bogner spent four years at Cruise-Wagner Productions (Tom Cruise and Paul Wagner), where he spearheaded the acquisition of material, supervised writers and collaborated with directors and talent on such films as Mission Impossible: 2, Without Limits, Vanilla Sky, and The Others, which he’s credited with finding and supervising. Bogner began his career at the Agency for Performing Arts (APA).

Bogner was born in London, England and left to attend UCLA, where he graduated with a BA in English Literature. His mother is a television producer and manager credited with discovering the British model Jean Shrimpton while his father is the author of some fifteen novels, including the best seller and highly regarded mini-series Seventh Avenue. His stepmother was the late Bettye McCartt, who Juno Temple depicted in The Offer.

Cold Iron Pictures is a production/financing company based in Los Angeles. The company produced SWISS ARMY MAN (starring Daniel Radcliffe and Paul Dano) directed by Daniels as well as Marielle Heller’s directorial debut THE DIARY OF A TEENAGE GIRL (starring Bel Powley, Kristen Wiig, and Alexander Skarsgård) both of which premiered at Sundance. Previous Cold Iron releases include Joseph Cedar’s political drama NORMAN starring Richard Gere which was released by Sony Pictures Classic; Mike Birbiglia’s DON’T THINK TWICE; and Lake Bell’s second film I DO…UNTIL I DON’T. Most recently, Cold Iron Pictures produced the 2018 SXSW selection BEING FRANK directed by Miranda Bailey and set to be released in 2019.They also produced the 2019 Sundance hit UNTITLED AMAZING JOHNATHAN DOCUMENTARY which premiered in the US Documentary Competition section and is available on Hulu. They are currently in production on the Thandie Newton starring thriller GOD’S Country.

Tori Chancellor presently works in comedy at Sethmaker Shoemeyers Productions (Seth Meyers & Mike Shoemaker) as the assistant to Jason Carden, VP of development & production. Prior to that, she assisted literary manager & producer George Heller at Brillstein Entertainment Partners on projects such as the television reboot of THE MIGHTY DUCKS for Disney+, Kaley Cuoco-led date night thriller ROLE PLAY (with The Picture Company and Studiocanal), & a film adaptation of Outside Magazine’s exposé on slain missionary John Allen Chau (with Anonymous Content). Tori also worked on the 29th season of AMERICA'S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS and interned at AwesomenessTV. She has served as a judge for numerous screenwriting competitions, including Blue Cat, Harvardwood Writers Competition, & NYU’s Purple List. After graduating from Auburn University in 2017 with a degree in Media Studies (visual track), Tori relocated to Los Angeles where she has since enjoyed writing her own scripts, participating in writers' workshops, and worldbuilding with her friends in their Dungeons & Dragons campaign. She identifies as queer and loves stories that feature strong yet flawed women.

Before managing he was a development exec at the independent production company Armory Films where he worked on THE PEANUT BUTTER FALCON.

He began his career at UTA and then moved on to work for film producer Andrew Panay. An avid cinephile at heart, Rosen is known for being a champion of independent cinema and for filmmakers. His favorite films are ACE IN THE HOLE, POINT BREAK, ALMOST FAMOUS, LOSING GROUND, and ALL ABOUT EVE.

How it Works

After registering, your confirmation email will include a link for you to access your syllabus for the program, which will include any prep work & resources, class dates & times, join links, assignments, and other instructions.

All interactive sessions are conducted face-to-face via video conferencing software Zoom. While the ability to call in by phone does exist, we strongly recommend taking full advantage of the face-to-face nature of these programs, so you should plan to attend your sessions in front of a computer or stationary tablet at a desk or table in a well-lit room. 

Please ensure you are familiar with our Code of Conduct.

**NOTEOnce you have registered for a particular month of the program, you are able to push your registration to a later month up to 7 days prior to the first session of the month for which you originally registered. Please note that the first session of the program may occur up to 5 days prior to the first day of the originally selected month, so check your syllabus accordingly. Changes requested after the 7 day deadline will not be accommodated.
