More about Justine Raczkiewicz

Justine is an international producer, with more than 15 years experience working both in development and on-set in the film industry. She has produced six feature films alongside French horror director Alexandre Aja (CRAWL, OXYGEN, THE HILLS HAVE EYES), has shot on location around the world including in Morocco, France, India and Canada, and worked with studios such as Miramax, The Weinstein Company, Mandalay Pictures and FOX International.

Under Aja's company, Justine produced comedy-horror PIRANHA 3D; the daring point-of-view thriller MANIAC starring Elijah Wood, and directed by Franck Khalfoun, which played in the "Official Selection" at the Cannes Film Festival; HORNS, the supernatural thriller and dark comedy, based on the bestselling novel by Joe Hill, played at the Toronto Film Festival, starring Daniel Radcliffe, Max Minghella and Juno Temple; THE PYRAMID, an adventure horror film set in an ancient Egyptian pyramid, directed by Gregory Levasseur and released by FOX International and THE OTHER SIDE OF THE DOOR, a haunted house possession thriller set in India, directed by Johannes Roberts (47 METERS DOWN, RESIDENT EVIL 2021). and THE 9th LIFE OF LOUIS DRAX, a Hitchcockian thriller based on the book of the same name, directed by Alex Aja, written by Max Minghella and starring Jamie Dornan, Aaron Paul and Sarah Gadon.

Under her own production company, Building J, Justine directs and develops content for film and TV. She won the BEST FEMALE DIRECTOR and BEST SHORT FILM awards at the Hollyshorts and IFS Festivals for WASTE, her directorial debut, which played at 25 film festivals across the world. Justine also directs music videos for a diverse range of artists including queer, Grammy nominated rappers, Ugandan hip-hop duos and Bollywood stars. Her last music video, TOP KNOT TURN UP for Madame Gandhi premiered on NYLON, and was featured on Billboard and Refinery29.

As a writer, Justine’s feature film scripts have placed as "Finalists" in various competitions including Cannes Films Unlimited, Shore Script and Scriptapalooza. She has also taken part in the Stowe Screenwriting and Torino NEXT Film Labs.
As a director she has been awarded development funding from the Polish Film Institute for her magical-realist feature NOSTOS, and is in prep to direct two female-driven, folk-horror films set in Ireland and on an Amish farm.

Originally from Warsaw, Poland, Justine graduated magna cum laude from Barnard College, Columbia University and also trained at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, L'École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq in Paris and the Parsons School of Design. How it Works

Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your registration for a refund or Roadmap gift card if you have not yet submitted your material for review. However, once your material has been received by Roadmap, your registration cannot be canceled. Having revised material or a desire to retroactively apply a discount or gift card code are not grounds for cancellation, refunds, or gift card credit. Once your material has been submitted, the only acceptable grounds for cancellation and a refund or gift card credit is an unforeseen, ongoing emergency on the part of either the writer or the exec resulting in more than 6 weeks without any scheduling update from the exec via direct contact or Roadmap, or a sudden change in the exec's ongoing availability. In the instance of an irreconcilable scheduling issue, the writer may still receive a written feedback report from the exec. In this case, the writer is not entitled to a refund or gift card credit as the exec has read the submitted material and provided written feedback in lieu of the call.
