The exec of your choice will read either the first 25 pages of 4 scripts, 33 pages of 3 scripts, or the first 50 pages of 2 scripts. You'll also submit a one-pager of loglines (to include Title, Format, Genre, and Comps with each logline) for their review. Then you'll have a one-hour call with the exec to get their notes and feedback on your portfolio as a whole, as well as receive marketing and career advice. Be prepared to ask guiding questions!

James Coleman is graduate of NYU Tisch School of Arts for Film & Television production. After graduating, he worked in commercial physical production and interned at Park Pictures in New York City, eventually earning a slot in the Celine Cousteau Film Fellowship for documentary direction. After returning to New York, James worked as an intern at Scott Rudin Productions, working his was up to an assistant position until the COVID pandemic. During the pandemic, he worked as an assistant to the documentary duo behind HBO's THE VOW. In 2022, he moved back to his native Los Angeles to transition fully into scripted projects as a director and producer. Until the WGA/SAG strike, he worked as an assistant in the Literary Management department of Anonymous Content.
After registering, you will receive instructions on how to submit your material in your order confirmation email. Please be sure to submit a one-pager of loglines and either 2 scripts (50 pages each), 3 scripts (33 pages each), or 4 scripts (25 pages each). After submitting your material, please allow 3-4 weeks to receive proposed times for scheduling your call with the exec.

Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your registration for a refund or Roadmap gift card if you have not yet submitted your material for review. However, once your material has been received by Roadmap, your registration cannot be canceled. Having revised material or a desire to retroactively apply a discount or gift card code are not grounds for cancellation, refunds, or gift card credit. Once your material has been submitted, the only acceptable grounds for cancellation and a refund or gift card credit is an unforeseen, ongoing emergency on the part of either the writer or the exec resulting in more than 6 weeks without any scheduling update from the exec via direct contact or Roadmap, or a sudden change in the exec's ongoing availability. In the instance of an irreconcilable scheduling issue, the writer may still receive a written feedback report from the exec. In this case, the writer is not entitled to a refund or gift card credit as the exec has read the submitted material and provided written feedback in lieu of the call.
