Comedy meetings aren't like other meetings. We can't stress enough how important it is for TV comedy writers to kill as hard in the room as they do on the page. Yes, you have to have great characters and a killer sample to get you in the door, but now an exec or showrunner needs to see if you're funny, and if you are someone they wanna spend 12 hours a day with in a writers' room.

Jack Herrguth is a writer (SISTER, SISTER), executive producer (GALAXY QUEST: IT’S ALL REAL), and entertainment executive (Comedy Central’s NATHAN FOR YOU). He has been successful in digital arenas as well, heading up development for Chris Hardwick's multi-media empire, Nerdist. Jack recently developed the half-hour comedy KILLING IT with Paul Feig.
Joey started in the industry at Bold Films (DRIVE, NIGHTCRAWLER, WHIPLASH) and has read for Hugh Jackman's company, George Clooney's company, and Night and Day Pictures, to name a few.
