Particularly Interested In

Features and pilots that feel fresh and singular, grounded stories that push familiar tropes in unexpected ways, and genre-bending stories. I respond to all genres, but especially gravitate toward bold voices, layered characters, and worlds that feel specific. I am drawn to character-driven and female-driven stories, book adaptations, smart rom-coms, and grounded sci-fi.

More about Chelsea Golub

Chelsea Golub is an LA-based Television and Film Development Executive and Producer who has primarily worked within producer-driven pods and has extensive experience across major studio features, premium scripted series, and independent projects.

Most recently, Chelsea served as Director of Development, TV & Film at Blue Marble Pictures, Theresa Kang’s production company, where she worked on PACHINKO and developed a slate of film and television projects as part of Blue Marble’s exclusive deal with Apple TV.

Prior to Blue Marble Pictures, Chelsea held multiple roles in development and production at Color Force (THE HUNGER GAMES, CRAZY RICH ASIANS, AMERICAN CRIME STORY), which had an exclusive TV deal with FX. She rose from producer’s assistant to Nina Jacobson, to creative executive, and ultimately to producer on Class of ’09, a limited series created by Tom Rob Smith for FX. Chelsea helped develop AMERICAN CRIME STORY: IMPEACHMENT, Y: THE LAST MAN, SAY NOTHING, CLIPPED, CLASS OF ’09, ALL DAY AND A NIGHT, THE HUNGER GAMES: THE BALLAD OF SONGBIRDS AND SNAKES, THE GOLDFINCH, and BEN IS BACK, among other film and television projects across Color Force’s slate. She has staffed multiple writers’ rooms, crafted studio pitches with writers and filmmakers, and gained on-set experience as a creative producer for CLASS OF ‘09.

Chelsea began her career working on Paramount’s Oscar publicity campaigns and FX and Amazon’s awards strategy at Weissman Markovitz Communications, and later assisted the Head of TV News at CAA.

How it Works

Upon registering, you will receive instructions on how to submit your material in your order confirmation email. After submitting your material, please allow about 3-4 weeks to receive proposed times for scheduling your call with the exec. If you haven't heard from your exec by the 3-4 week mark about scheduling, please email terra@roadmapwriters.com so we know to check in with them on your behalf about their proposed dates/ETA for you.

Your private pitch practice session will take place over video conferencing software ZOOM so you will have a link to review the recording of your session at your leisure!

**Please note written pitches are limited to 2 pages maximum. Please contact terra@roadmapwriters.com for pricing on a consultation for a written pitch exceeding 2 pages.

Be sure to familiarize yourself with Roadmap's Code of Conduct.

Questions? Email terra@roadmapwriters.com

Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your registration for a refund or Roadmap gift card if you have not yet submitted your material for review. However, once your material has been received by Roadmap, your registration cannot be canceled. Having revised material or a desire to retroactively apply a discount or gift card code are not grounds for cancellation, refunds, or gift card credit. Once your material has been submitted, the only acceptable grounds for cancellation and a refund or gift card credit is an unforeseen, ongoing emergency on the part of either the writer or the exec resulting in more than 6 weeks without any scheduling update from the exec via direct contact or Roadmap, or a sudden change in the exec's ongoing availability. In the instance of an irreconcilable scheduling issue, the writer may still receive a written feedback report from the exec. In this case, the writer is not entitled to a refund or gift card credit as the exec has read the submitted material and provided written feedback in lieu of the call.
