Cassie is an insightful and experienced executive with a track record of developing, producing, and selling television series and features. She is currently a founding member of the The Rising Tide, a consulting group providing advisory and fractional executive services for the entertainment industry. Here she works as a senior consultant, while also running their development and IP sourcing group for internal projects. The company is currently working with multiple buyers and sellers, helping produce live action and animated content.
Prior to The Rising Tide, Conaway worked as a Senior Consultant for Roku, focusing on the Roku Originals Scripted Team. She worked as the lead liaison on numerous projects, both in development and production, acting as the go-between for the network, studios, and talent. She worked on such projects as THE HOLIDAY SHIFT, SLIP, and PROSPER. She also worked closely with international channels and studios on various coproductions.
Before Roku, Conaway served as the Director of Scripted Programming at AMC Studios. There she oversaw projects for both the internal AMC networks, as well as externally, such as THE WALKING DEAD: THE ONES WHO LIVE at AMC and Victor LaValle’s LONE WOMEN at Onyx. She also serviced numerous AMC overall deals, such as Greg Nicotero, Katie Holmes, Two And Two, and Made With Love. Conaway also acted as the point executive on sourcing various forms of IP for the AMC family networks, as well as the studio.
Conaway also served as the Director of Development at IDW Entertainment. There she oversaw a diverse slate of TV and Film projects based on IDW's graphic novels in all stages from development to production, such as LOCKE & KEY at Netflix and WYNONYA EARP at Syfy. Here she collaborated with publishing to review incoming graphic novels proposals for entertainment potential.Conaway was also responsible for handling international titles, working with local producers and writers throughout the UK and Europe.
Prior to joining IDWE, Conaway served as a TV Creative Executive at The Russo Bros' AGBO where she developed with some of Hollywood’s most sought out writers and directors. Additionally, she was one of the AGBO points on shows such as SYFY’s DEADLY CLASS, Amazon’s CITADEL, Epix’s FROM and was charged with staffing along with managing episodic director needs.
Cassie started her career at THE LATE SHOW With David Letterman. Here she worked her way up from an intern to a page, supporting the team during daily show tapings. She has also worked at such companies as WME and Studio 8.
Conaway holds a Master of Fine Arts from the Peter Stark Producing Program at the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Screen Arts from the University of Michigan.

Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your registration for a refund or Roadmap gift card if you have not yet submitted your material for review. However, once your material has been received by Roadmap, your registration cannot be canceled. Having revised material or a desire to retroactively apply a discount or gift card code are not grounds for cancellation, refunds, or gift card credit. Once your material has been submitted, the only acceptable grounds for cancellation and a refund or gift card credit is an unforeseen, ongoing emergency on the part of either the writer or the exec resulting in more than 6 weeks without any scheduling update from the exec via direct contact or Roadmap, or a sudden change in the exec's ongoing availability. In the instance of an irreconcilable scheduling issue, the writer may still receive a written feedback report from the exec. In this case, the writer is not entitled to a refund or gift card credit as the exec has read the submitted material and provided written feedback in lieu of the call.
