How do writers get their start? What inspires them to set their hands to the keyboard and keep writing even when it's hard? How do they stay motivated on their journey, and, more importantly, how do they keep the passion for the craft alive?

Sometimes, the difference between who makes it and who doesn't is resilience.

This Summer, Roadmap welcomes writers who have shown the kind of resilience and passion you need to succeed in this industry. Hear their stories about how they got to where they are now.

This 60 Minute Webinar Will Cover:

  • Getting started in screenwriting
  • Learning the craft and finding your voice
  • Rejection and perseverance
  • Live Q&A
More about
Paul Baiguerra

Raised in a coal mining town in a benevolent version of a Godfather movie (Italian Father, gambler, major employer in town, did favours, no crime…that he knows of…), Paul's interest in theatre and photography lead to running an amateur youth theatre company, and realising film was his calling. Instead, he went into directing commercials and became quite good at shifting inconsequential widgets for inconsequential people who had convinced themselves they were making art. Years passed and with a litany of well honed excuses he craftily avoided writing anything until he realised he was utterly miserable, he then rearranged his life to pursue a screenwriting career, an entirely different form of misery...he's never been happier.

Paul is currently repped by CK Entertainment.
