In virtual roundtables limited to only 10 people, each writer will have 5 minutes to practice their pitch with an exec that specializes in the genre(s) you write in . The pitch should be 2-3 minutes, leaving time for the exec to provide verbal feedback.
The host of each Roundtable will select one writer to advance to the Pitch Finale.

High-concept horror, thriller and action movies.
Ryan is a Director of Development at Project X Entertainment (SCREAM franchise, THE NIGHT AGENT, READY OR NOT). He previously worked with showrunner Chris Fedak through his overall deal at Warner Brothers. Prior to becoming an executive, Ryan worked in various writers room support staff roles on shows like PRODIGAL SON and LETHAL WEAPON as well as the Michael Bay movie AMBULANCE. He began his career working at Paradigm Talent Agency.
Meeting with Ryan was a tremendous asset. Especially as a writer who works largely in genre mashups that some execs discourage, Ryan's understanding about the place for these types of stories within the industry was so helpful. With knowledge and a strong creative voice of his own, Ryan was able to give notes that I have been able to take and use to bring my voice and characters out further in this script.Plus, it was simply a pleasure to talk to him. Great exec who I would recommend to not only any genre writer, but to any writer who is looking for somebody to get to the core of their story and find the ways to not only fix what isn't working, but amplify the things that are.
