Nelson Jimenez is a freelance consultant and a former Director of Scripted Programming at The CW Network. He has contributed to developing over 90 projects and shepherding the creative on numerous current series, co-productions, and features.
His six years at The CW included coverage of the final season of DC's SUPERMAN & LOIS, Supernatural spin-off THE WINCHESTERS, SHERLOCK & DAUGHTER (starring David Thewlis), JOAN (starring Sophie Turner), GOOD COP/BAD COP (starring Leighton Meester), SULLIVAN'S CROSSING, and SIGHT UNSEEN. He also led the family comedy block coverage - CHILDREN RUIN EVERYTHING, RUN THE BURBS, SON OF A CRITCH and the critically-acclaimed EVERYONE ELSE BURNS. In addition, he helped launch the creative of procedural comedy WILD CARDS, THE LIBRARIANS: THE NEXT CHAPTER, and a slate of six romantic comedy features inspired by Harlequin novels.
Prior to his time as a network executive, he spent three years at CAA. There, he was a part of the Multicultural Business Development team, where he led project building for the company's DEI initiatives, including advocating for clients across the Television Lit/Talent spaces and was part of the hosting team behind the annual Amplify conference. Nelson is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a B.S. in Radio-Television-Film and Corporate Communication.
