Michael J. Gutierrez was born in England to a British mother and New Yorker father, so he said he was always raised to be a polite a**hole. Michael moved to Los Angeles and had barely learned how to tie his shoes (shoutout to the homie Mister Rogers) when his parents divorced. Michael’s father took him aside and bestowed upon the five-year-old the esteemed title of “Man of the House” and instructed him to look over his mother and sister. He took on that responsibility with no questions asked. After graduating film school at Cal State LA, Michael was a finalist in the Disney/ABC, NBC and Universal Animation writing fellowship programs. He was an inaugural fellow in the Circle of Confusion Writer Discovery program and wrote on seasons 1 and 2 of Netflix’s Fubar and seasons 2 and 3 of Amazon’s Reacher, respectively, where he was promoted from a Staff Writer to Story Editor.
- Immediately after registering, you will receive an Order Confirmation email that serves as the receipt for your registration. In the Order Summary section of this email, you will find a link reading "CLICK HERE FOR INSTRUCTIONS" that will take you to instructions on how to submit your contact info or written pitch via the Material Submission Form.
- Your material/contact submission is due as soon as you are ready, but no later than midnight PT on the Friday before your session.
- The week before your session, you will receive an email from Zoom with the link to your session.
- You will receive this exec's written feedback on your pitch via email within 7 to 10 business days following the session unless otherwise notified.

Cancellation Policy
You may cancel for a full refund up to 72 hrs. prior to the start of the session. Cancellations requested after this deadline will be ineligible for refunds.
