Make it concise focusing on characters and their development throughout the pilot/series/feature. Convey a comprehensive overview of the world and the plot you have created. but don't get bogged down in the details. Convey the world and the characters to make me/us fall in love with them. Don't make it feel like a presentation, you are trying to persuade me (the hypothetical/potential buyer) with emotions to spend money from my budget on your idea.
Top Tier + Pitches - We're interested in ongoing genre series, so that includes everything from horror to thriller to crime/true crime to grounded sci-fi to dystopian/post-apocalyptic to action to YA. We are not looking for anything that is overly dark or dreary.
Consultations - All of the above and in addition, I personally also like fantasy, drama, romcoms, period pieces, dramedies, comedies, animation, etc. My top favs are sci-fi, fantasy, horror, historical/period pieces, action/adventure, YA/coming-of-age, superhero (comic/graphic novel adaptations included), and irreverent, satirical, alternative, black, or genre comedy. I like reading both TV and features.
Jennifer Patterson is a junior executive at Blumhouse Television with experience across high-profile scripted and feature development and production. Before joining Blumhouse, she has worked with companies such as Echo Lake Entertainment (THE GREAT), Valhalla Entertainment (THE WALKING DEAD), and Creative Artists Agency (CAA). Her recent projects include The Walking Dead Universe, The Bondsman, Scarpetta, The Horror of Dolores Roach, The Sticky, Shogun, and Blumhouse Television’s slate of original movies for Epix/MGM+.
She focuses on bold, elevated genre storytelling with a particular passion for horror, sci-fi, fantasy, psychological thrillers, hard hitting dramas, and character-driven genre fare that explores moral complexity and societal anxieties.
Jennifer maintains strong relationships throughout the industry, including Amazon, Netflix, MGM+, UCP, Peacock, AMC, Lionsgate, HBO, and major talent agencies such as CAA, WME, UTA, Gersh, and IAG.
- Immediately after registering, you will receive an Order Confirmation email that serves as the receipt for your registration. In the Order Summary section of this email, you will find a link reading "CLICK HERE FOR INSTRUCTIONS" that will take you to instructions on how to submit your contact info or written pitch via the Material Submission Form.
- Your material/contact submission is due as soon as you are ready, but no later than midnight PT on the Friday before your session.
- The week before your session, you will receive an email from Zoom with the link to your session.
- You will receive this exec's written feedback on your pitch via email within 7 to 10 business days following the session unless otherwise notified.

Cancellation Policy
