StoryCo is a collaborative storytelling platform that enables storytellers to easily create and publish multimedia stories, engage an audience, and build these stories into expansive universes by leveraging the creative powers and ideas of their community. StoryCo is launching the platform with THE DISCO BALL - a sci-fi adventure starring and created by established Hollywood talent. The narrative will be extended and expanded by creators around the globe through StoryCo's Co/Create initiative. Backed by a diverse group of investors in art, media, gaming, entertainment, and technology, StoryCo is reshaping the entertainment landscape by pioneering a new category of entertainment that leverages the internet and modern technology to create rich, ever-expanding fictional story worlds harnessing the power of networked creativity.
$100K StoryCo Accelerator
The StoryCo Accelerator is a unique program designed to elevate your narrative, transform it into a multimedia phenomenon, and introduce it to a global audience. Our Accelerator Program will offer selected projects funding (between $5-10K per story), resources, and support to bring your original idea to life in the same way as THE DISCO BALL, our first collaborative narrative which you can experience at Story.co/discoball, without taking any ownership of your IP. Our Accelerator cohort will be the first to access the tools we’re building to allow storytellers to quickly and seamlessly turn plain-text stories into rich audio-visual worlds. We’ll work hand-in-hand with you to help you realize your creative vision as we refine our creator toolset along the way.

J.P. Alanís is the co-founder of StoryCo, an open storytelling platform that enables storytellers to easily create and publish multimedia stories, engage and build a fan base, and build these stories into expansive universes leveraging the creative powers and ideas of their community. Prior to Founding StoryCo, J.P. was an experienced development executive. He previously co-created and led GOLF MEDIA, the direct-to-consumer media platform and production company founded by Tyler, The Creator. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing content development, events, product and technology, as well as the sales of incubated projects to linear television. This included the sale of The Jellies to Adult Swim and Nuts & Bolts to Viceland, making them some of the first series ever to originate from a direct-to-consumer digital product and be sold to linear television. J.P. holds a BA in business in cinematic arts from USC.
Justin Alanís is a co-founder of StoryCo, an open storytelling platform that enables storytellers to easily create and publish multimedia stories, engage and build a fan base, and build these stories into expansive universes leveraging the creative powers and ideas of their community. Justin is an experienced entrepreneur with a background in both technology and private equity. He currently serves as a core community member at several decentralized organizations that support, invest in, and foster the growth of emerging web3 technology companies. Justin has also founded and served as CEO of a data analytics technology company that was acquired in 2018. In addition to his involvement in technology startups, Justin is an active investor in the startup ecosystem.
