Exec will review your pages and meet with you via zoom for 30 minutes to continue incubating your new project.
Pitching should be natural, I strive to always make sure the writer feels comfortable. It should be concept driven but also stay in touch with the humanity of the story.
Overall, Matt Baer Films has a big focus on strong dialogue. We are open to all genres but specifically thriller, horror, romcom, r-rated comedies, female led stories. Our main focus is features, but if we find a limited series worth pursuing we will.
Nothing we are not willing to read, although the above features are the focus.
Emily Robinson has been the Vice President of Matt Baer Films for the past four years. They currently have two projects in pre-production and six more in development with various studios. Emily has previously worked as an associate producer on set as well as in development.
