I am particularly interested in original ideas. While I know that existing IP and true narratives can be powerful when correctly adapted and developed, fresh new ideas will always excite me more.
Dominic James Baker is a British film producer with a focus on independent cinema. He has produced several short films, including HUBRIS (2023), ORTOLAN (2023), and THIS IS ZOE (2022). ORTOLAN received multiple awards during its festival run, including Best Mise-En-Scène at the Hastings Independent Film Festival.
Dominic is also a co-producer on the upcoming feature film VOWS, starring Eddie Marsan, Sarah Parish, and John Bradley. A UK-American-Canadian collaboration, VOWS is set for release in early 2026. Through this project, he has built meaningful relationships with some of the UK’s key industry professionals and creative talent.
Currently, Dominic is developing a slate of British films within the independent sector, continuing to pursue his passion for original, collaborative storytelling.
