A graduate of Temple University, Chikira Bennett is currently a writer’s assistant at Sony Pictures Television (BREAKING BAD; THE GOOD DOCTOR; FOR LIFE). Prior to her current position, Chikira worked at the studio helping manage and streamline business and creative affairs for top-level executives on new development, discovering content for their slates and identifying new initiatives for infrastructural change in studio hiring and retention practices. Chikira began her career in the TV literary department at Creative Artists Agency (AD ASTRA; A MILLION LITTLE PIECES). Following that, she landed at Morgan Freeman’s Revelations Entertainment (INVICTUS; FEAST OF LOVE; ALONG CAME A SPIDER), working with a small development team on revamping the TV slate and helping to develop a limited series about the life and legacy of Muhammad Ali.
Private Month Mentorship
Each month mentorship kicks off with a preliminary 15-min. call to set expectations and lay out strategy for the month. Writer will have unlimited email access with executive plus 4x one-hour consultations with the exec. Exec will read up to 4 scripts in one month (different drafts of the same script or 4 different scripts) and conduct 4x one-hour story notes calls. Calls will also include pitch preps, brand preps and career strategy.
If you pay with the deposit/payment plan, your second half will be due the 2nd week of the Mentorship. If you need a different type of payment plan, email dorian@roadmapwriters.com.
