Exec will read the first 15 pages of your script and conduct a 20-min. general meeting with you via Zoom.
-Character is king!
-Love a funny pitch. Take a deep breath and trust your experience to tell your story
-What is the hook/your unique POV?
-Focus on the story setup for episode 102 and the main character(s) set up rest of the season.
-Live action half hour comedy (multi and single cam) for network and streaming are my highest preference. As far as traditional multicam, think LEANNE on Netflix.
-Female led half hours and one hours
-One hour political dramas
-Procedurals with an emotional arc (ex: CASTLE, THE GOOD WIFE)
-Serialized TV
-Would love to read stories that feature the growth journey of Black women at any stage of life framed in a comedic but grounded way.

Breanne Washington attended the University of California, Riverside while pursuing a BA in Media and Cultural Studies. She then obtained an MBA with a Marketing concentration from Michigan State University. After earning her MBA she joined Creative Artists Agency (CAA), working in Unscripted television for a few years with talent like Gordon Ramsay and Jonathan Van Ness. She most recently worked at Netflix in Scripted Comedy Development where she was an executive on various shows including THE UPSHAWS, DAD STOP EMBARRASSING ME, BLOCKBUSTER, FREERIDGE, and THE VINCE STAPLES SHOW. She was also integral to the progression of a robust development slate. Breanne has long standing relationships with reps, veteran and up & coming writers, directors, and multi-hyphenates. Her biggest drive is to find and develop stories that are undeniably needed in the consumer media marketplace and her background at one of the biggest buyers and talent agencies gives her a strong insight into accomplishing that goal.
