BIO
VICTORIA AUGUSTINE grew up training to be a ballerina. In Syracuse, NY, she danced in a semi-professional company for three years. Although ballet is her favorite playground, two drama screenplays were inspired by the music industry where she worked for six years as assistant to the founders of Atlantic Records and Rolling Stone Magazine. When her sister committed suicide, she returned to the ballet realm through the healing world of yoga. The sister screenplay placed in the Nicholl two years in a row and then was optioned by Australian producers. Her first drama pilot was a book adaptation and made semifinalist in Cinequest and Industry Insider. Always returning to ballet, her latest TV pilot, a ballet whodunit, won Best Screenplay Award—London. A graduate of Barnard College and a yoga teacher in NYC, Victoria rejoices in dramas where overwhelming loss leads to finding a life-affirming purpose. Victoria resides in Astoria with her husband of twenty-four years.
