KIM HORNSBY is a Produced Screenwriter and USA Today Bestselling Author known for adapting her novels to screenplays. The recipient of over 20 screenwriting finalist awards including Austin, Atlanta and Holly Shorts, Kim's brand is Romance whether the story also involves Comedy or Suspense. CHAT, her short thriller, made the top 50 Roadmap Writers Short Film Competition and is currently touring the film festival circuit. Her Indie Family Adventure script, Braving Rapids, is in production with distribution slated for 2024 with Kim as a producer. Traveling to writer conferences to teach the craft of adaptation, Kim encourages women in film and the notion that writers can pen both novels and scripts.
Recently completing a collaborative TV movie for American television, Kim works well with producers to deliver the script they can make.
