Steven Jackson is a creative executive and producer with a decade of experience developing bold, immersive storytelling across film, television, and interactive media. Most recently, he served as Head of Development & Production at Spike Lee’s Forty Acres and a Mule Filmworks, overseeing a diverse slate of projects under the company’s first-look deal with Netflix.
Prior to that, Steven spent three years at Netflix as Manager of Original Series and Interactive Films, where he helped shape the platform’s pioneering slate of interactive content and worked across acclaimed live-action comedies including COBRA KAI, DEAR WHITE PEOPLE, THE UPSHAWS, and THE VINCE STAPLES SHOW. His work bridged creative and product teams, pushing the boundaries of audience engagement and format innovation.
Steven began his career in creative roles at Chernin Entertainment and Paramount Pictures, contributing to the development of major studio films such as TOP GUN: MAVERICK, ROCKETMAN, COMING 2 AMERICA, and WITHOUT REMORSE. Across every chapter of his journey, he has worked closely with writers, filmmakers, and talent to bring authentic, resonant stories to global audiences.
