Serena Turner is an independent producer living in New York City, who has developed a variety of scripted and unscripted features and series. Currently, she is producing CANDY, an indie feature starring Busy Philipps, written and to be directed by Courtenay Johnson. She is also producing a horror film, THE BOY WHO WOULD BE KILLER based on a true story with Lila Claghorn. On the TV side, she is producing WE LIKE TO PARTY with XTR Productions and narrated by Lindsay Lohan, THROW LIKE A GIRL with Rock'N Robin (Robin Roberts’ company), scripted hour-long SWAN DIVE based on the Vanity Fair article “Capote’s Swan Dive,” scripted hour-long THE HOUSE based on an article in The New Yorker, half-hour dark comedy INCONCEIVABLE written by Lila Claghorn and Celey Schumer, and many others. Before developing and producing independently, Serena ran development for Wavelength Productions (WON'T YOU BE MY NEIGHBOR, KNOCK DOWN THE HOUSE). She has worked with all of the top networks including Netflix (ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT), Hulu (DADBEAT), HBO (George Lopez: IT'S NOT ME, IT'S YOU), FX (BRAND X with Russel Brand), Yahoo, (Bill Maher: CrazyStupidPolitics) MTV, CBS, and more. Among others, she has sold projects to IFC, Warner Brothers Digital, The CW and Seeso.
