Samuel Tolbert
A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Samuel Tolbert currently works directly under the Head of Film at Will Ferrell and Jessica Elbaum’s Gloria Sanchez Productions (BARB AND STAR GO TO VISTA DEL MAR; BOOKSMART; HUSTLERS). Previously, Samuel worked in the motion picture literary department at UTA. Having read and covered countless scripts for execs and agents, Samuel knows exactly what can make or break a writer in that critical stage of getting that first general meeting or getting that same sample a green light further down the line. Sam loves seeing new, innovative voices in the comedy space but also has experience with smaller indies and larger-budget family features.
