Rashonda graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill and began her career in advertising copywriting working for|brands such as Kashi, JetBlue, and the Charlotte Bobcats. Upon completing her graduate program at|Savannah College of Art and Design, she worked in production at the Georgia Film Commission office.|Production lead her to Studio71, where she wrote for talent such as Shay Mitchell, Bethany Moda and|Sky Gaven during the launch of their digital platforms which transitioned her into development. She's|helped produce projects across digital, television and film including one of YouTube Red's first|premium shows with Dwayne ""The Rock"" Johnson's Seven Bucks and indie darling, Plus One, with Ben|Stiller's Red Hour. This led her to her most recent position as Director of Scripted Development for MGM Television where she continued to champion the narratives of diverse voices and advocate for untapped talent.
