James Coleman is graduate of NYU Tisch School of Arts for Film & Television production. After graduating, he worked in commercial physical production and interned at Park Pictures in New York City, eventually earning a slot in the Celine Cousteau Film Fellowship for documentary direction. After returning to New York, James worked as an intern at Scott Rudin Productions, working his was up to an assistant position until the COVID pandemic. During the pandemic, he worked as an assistant to the documentary duo behind HBO's THE VOW. In 2022, he moved back to his native Los Angeles to transition fully into scripted projects as a director and producer. He currently works as an assistant in the Literary Management department of Anonymous Content.
