Character Driven is my main goal in my own writing so I'm always particularly interested in that. I love Dark Comedy as well.
Nuance. Universal human truths.
Rom-Com unless there's a fun twist to it - something original like HER for example. Not particularly interested in political/socio-political messages either; more universal human truths.
Repped at both WME and Range, Conor Walsh is an up-and-coming English writer of Irish heritage who was born in Manchester and grew up in London. Prolific, he most recently wrote the spec feature MIRACLE HUNTERS, a road-trip buddy dramedy with a supernatural hook. Broken Road is on board to produce. Conor also penned the psychological horror/thriller BADDAMAN set on London's council estates, which is under option to Golden Gate, a UK producer under a Sony deal; a Crime Drama, ON TOP, set up at Gotham Group and an R-Rated Comedy developing at RK Films. In addition, Conor previously adapted a bestselling YA fantasy series of novels for television.
Conor is based in Los Angeles with his blue pitbull, Lollipop, and his high school sweetheart, who he constantly bores with his love of Manchester United, boxing and MMA - and who bores him right back with her love of shite TV.
