ANNOUNCING OUR NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH AFF!

At Roadmap, we have long admired Austin Film Festival's commitment to supporting screenwriters of all levels through their Screenplay Competition.

That's why we are thrilled to announce our new status as AFF's official partner for marketing their winners and finalists in the feature, TV, podcast, and play categories!

Given Roadmap's track record of helping AFF's winners get signed, staffed, and produced in an unofficial capacity, AFF is excited to make it official and utilize our expertise to give their writers the best shot at success.

Fun Fact: Roadmap has helped AFF winners Nick Gambino, Zander Adell, Christopher Cramer, David Williams, and Michael Hubbard get signed to representation (and even set up projects). Also, with the help of exposure from AFF, Roadmappers like Sean Collins-Smith and Tate Hanyok were able to get staffed and produced by Hulu, respectively.

Additionally, the WGA has confirmed that submitting to AFF’s competitions does not constitute prohibited conduct under the Strike Rules.

With this clarification, AFF has extended the final deadline for feature screenplays, teleplays, short screenplays, and stage plays until the end of the month.

This will give you that extra time to polish your script and make those last-minute changes. AFF's esteemed judges of screenplay and teleplay writers eagerly await reading your scripts. Submissions will be open until 11:59PM CT on Wednesday, May 31.

We'll be attending the Conference again this year—hope to see you there, too!
