More about Sholla Caramba-Coker

Sholla Caramba-Coker is an award-winning drama executive, commissioning editor and producer with a decade of experience across leading UK and international broadcasters and production companies.

Most recently, Sholla served as Associate Commissioning Editor at Sky Studios, where she was one of two commissioners on THE DAY OF THE JACKAL (Sky/Peacock), Sky's biggest drama launch in a decade and Golden Globe-nominated. In this role she led the creative relationship with Carnival Films and US partners at Peacock throughout development and production, while also commissioning and managing a wider slate of drama projects aligned with Sky's strategic priorities.

Prior to Sky, Sholla was Development Producer at Left Bank Pictures, home of THE CROWN, where she partnered with the Head of Development to manage and grow the company's high-profile drama slate. Earlier in her career she served as Assistant Producer on I MAY DESTROY YOU (HBO/BBC), working closely with showrunner Michaela Coel on the BAFTA, Emmy and Golden Globe-winning series, one of the most critically acclaimed dramas of the decade. She has also held development and production roles at Two Halves Pictures, BBC HOLBY CITY, Fifty Fathoms Productions and South of the River Pictures, and has served as a Freelance Script Consultant and Reader at the BBC Writers' Room.

Named one of the Edinburgh International Television Festival's Ones to Watch, Sholla is also an active mentor with Screenwriting Goldmine, supporting emerging writers from underrepresented backgrounds.

She holds an MA in Text and Performance Studies (Merit) from RADA and King's College London, and a BA in English Literature and Theatre Studies (2:1) from the University of Warwick.

How it Works

After registering, you will receive instructions on how to submit your material in your order confirmation email. After submitting your material, please allow about 3-4 weeks to receive proposed times for scheduling your call with the exec. If you haven't heard from your exec by the 3-4 week mark about scheduling, please email terra@roadmapwriters.com so we know to check in with them on your behalf about their proposed dates/ETA for you.

**Please note half-hour pilot consultation material is limited to 37 pages maximum

Be sure to familiarize yourself with Roadmap's Code of Conduct.

Questions? Email terra@roadmapwriters.com!

MARKETING BONUS! If you receive a rating of Excellent or Virtually Flawless in at least four out of five categories (Logline and Formatting/Ease of Reading are excluded) on your consultation feedback report, we'll do one round of personalized marketing to execs (up to 5) for this screenplay for free!

Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your registration for a refund or Roadmap gift card if you have not yet submitted your material for review. However, once your material has been received by Roadmap, your registration cannot be canceled. Having revised material or a desire to retroactively apply a discount or gift card code are not grounds for cancellation, refunds, or gift card credit. Once your material has been submitted, the only acceptable grounds for cancellation and a refund or gift card credit is an unforeseen, ongoing emergency on the part of either the writer or the exec resulting in more than 6 weeks without any scheduling update from the exec via direct contact or Roadmap, or a sudden change in the exec's ongoing availability. In the instance of an irreconcilable scheduling issue, the writer may still receive a written feedback report from the exec. In this case, the writer is not entitled to a refund or gift card credit as the exec has read the submitted material and provided written feedback in lieu of the call.
