More about Samantha Goff

Samantha Goff is an animation industry Manager, Recruiter, Outreach Specialist, DEI Advocate, and Career Development Coach. Self-proclaimed "animation activist," Sam currently works as a Talent Manager with Fourth Wall Management in the animation division.

After achieving a B.A. in Animation from the top-rated Loyola Marymount University School of Film and Television, she worked in animation production - both features and television - with Dreamworks Animation. There she worked on many notable titles such as SPIRIT: RIDING FREE, FAST & FURIOUS: SPY RACERS, and THE BAD GUYS.

After her time working as an animation production professional, Sam transitioned to the Outreach & Engagement department with Netflix’s fledgling (at the time) animation studio. At Netflix she pioneered a mentorship program targeted at uplifting BIPOC talent known as the Foundations Program, helped manage the Early Career Trainee Program in the early career storyboarding and visual development disciplines, and created an internal DEI celebration known as the Unlearning Series.

Today, Sam works at Fourth Wall Management where she helps manage the careers of writers, directors, story artists, and visual development artists. As a manager, she is a reverse recruiter, career coach, producer, and sometimes even a therapist. Outside of her day job, Sam is a mentor and educator in the animation world. She regularly volunteers her time to mentor with organizations like BRIC and Women in Animation. In her speaking engagements, Sam specializes in helping those looking to break into the industry make their applications “recruiter friendly”. She teaches her personal animation DEI activism course, Animated Perspectives, at her alma mater- Loyola Marymount University. She is also teaching an animation practicum course with Cal State Long Beach. She resides in Los Angeles with her wife and their six pets.

How it Works

After registering, you will receive instructions on how to submit your material in your order confirmation email. After submitting your material, please allow 3-4 weeks to receive proposed times for scheduling your call with the exec.

**Please note feature screenplays are limited to 120 pages maximum. Please contact terra@roadmapwriters.com for pricing on a consultation for a screenplay exceeding 120 pages.

Be sure to familiarize yourself with Roadmap's Code of Conduct.

Questions? Email terra@roadmapwriters.com

MARKETING BONUS! If you receive a rating of Excellent or Virtually Flawless in at least four out of five categories (Logline and Formatting/Ease of Reading are excluded) on your consultation feedback report, we'll do one round of personalized marketing to execs (up to 5) for this screenplay for free!

Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your registration for a refund or Roadmap gift card if you have not yet submitted your material for review. However, once your material has been received by Roadmap, your registration cannot be canceled. Having revised material or a desire to retroactively apply a discount or gift card code are not grounds for cancellation, refunds, or gift card credit. Once your material has been submitted, the only acceptable grounds for cancellation and a refund or gift card credit is an unforeseen, ongoing emergency on the part of either the writer or the exec resulting in more than 6 weeks without any scheduling update from the exec via direct contact or Roadmap, or a sudden change in the exec's ongoing availability. In the instance of an irreconcilable scheduling issue, the writer may still receive a written feedback report from the exec. In this case, the writer is not entitled to a refund or gift card credit as the exec has read the submitted material and provided written feedback in lieu of the call.
