What to Expect
It's important for every writer to have a solid script AND to show executives that they are collaborative and professional to work with. Limited to only 5 writers, these 2-week Rewrite Clinics are designed to give writers an opportunity to develop a solid script and collaborate with an industry professional.
The executive will read your script and in an online roundtable with only 4 other writers, you will have 25 minutes to receive notes from your executive, get to know them, and let them get to know you!
Then you will have a week between sessions to revise your pages and in the second roundtable, you'll have another 25-minute meeting to talk about the submitted revisions.

Rewrite Clinics meet online via virtual classroom utilizing video conferencing software ZOOM.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel for a full refund up to 72 hrs. prior to the start of the class. Cancellations requested after this deadline will be ineligible for refunds.

Devon Byers is a literary manager with Heroes and Villains Entertainment based in Los Angeles. He and his partner, Krista Sipp, joined HVE after founding their own management company First Friday Entertainment in 2017.
Originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, Devon started his career in physical production where he produced and coordinated award-winning independent films and commercials. He soon moved to Los Angeles to attend the American Film Institute Conservatory where he graduated with an MFA in Producing. Devon continued his freelance career before making the switch to development at production company Ideate Media (Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency) and working there for nearly four years.
Currently, Devon is focused on representing clients with a unique worldview and fresh voices who have something to say in all genres. He is also interested in cultivating IP that speaks to new audiences.
Immediately after registering, you will receive an Order Confirmation email that serves as the receipt for your registration. In the Order Summary section of this email you will find a link reading "CLICK HERE FOR INSTRUCTIONS" that will take you to your syllabus, instructions for submitting material (if any), and the link to join the Live Class. Sessions are conducted via video conferencing software ZOOM. You will receive a link to the recording of the session via email following the live session.
