What to Expect
It's important for every writer to have a solid script AND to show executives that they are collaborative and professional to work with. Limited to only 5 writers, these 2-week Rewrite Clinics are designed to give writers an opportunity to develop a solid script and collaborate with an industry professional.
The executive will read your script and in an online roundtable with only 4 other writers, you will have 25 minutes to receive notes from your executive, get to know them, and let them get to know you!
Then you will have a week between sessions to revise your pages and in the second roundtable, you'll have another 25-minute meeting to talk about the submitted revisions.

Cancellation Policy
You may cancel for a full refund up to 72 hrs. prior to the start of the class. Cancellations requested after this deadline will be ineligible for refunds.

Concept first. Why is this relevant now? Then move into descriptions of 1-2 main character(s), the story synopsis, and what those 1-2 main characters learn/how they change from beginning to end (aka their "arc"). Then explain 1-3 themes that are woven throughout.
Features only. Horror, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Thrillers, and/or Action—budgets $5-8MM max.
Do not try and fit in a social message where there isn't one. I would rather hear a small simple explanation of "relevance" than something drawn-out and forced. I would rather hear strong themes than shoehorned ideas.
Immediately after registering, you will receive an Order Confirmation email that serves as the receipt for your registration. In the Order Summary section of this email you will find a link reading "CLICK HERE FOR INSTRUCTIONS" that will take you to your syllabus, instructions for submitting material (if any), and the link to join the Live Class. Sessions are conducted via video conferencing software ZOOM. You will receive a link to the recording of the session via email following the live session.
