More about Nicholas Bogner

As a producer and manager of actors, writers and directors, Nicholas Bogner has vast experience in all areas of television and features. He has been an executive for major feature companies (such as Cruise-Wagner and Michael Douglas Productions) as well as a television network (TNT) and has two produced credits as a screenwriter, THE LITTLE DEATH and NO STRINGS ATTACHED. He also produced SOCCER MOM starring Emily Osment (The Kominsky Method, Hannah Montana) and Missi Pyle (Jumanji, The Artist, Gone Girl) for Starz and ANCHOR BAY. More recently, he produced A NICE GIRL LIKE YOU starring Lucy Hale.
In 2008, Bogner joined the management/production company Affirmative Entertainment to start their lit department. Since then, Bogner has sold features including: WEDDING SEASON (Imagine for Netflix), INFINITE STORM (Maven Pictures for Sony/Bleeker Street), REFUGE (Voltage), COME PLAY (Amblin for Universal) and the upcoming INSIDIOUS: 6 (Blumhouse/Screen Gems). He has sold pilots to the various networks and streamers as well as having staffed many writers over the years from shows such as EARTH ABIDES, SUPERSTORE, THE COMPANY YOU KEEP, DC’s LEGENDS OF TOMORROW, THE FLASH etc. Additionally, Bogner is attached to several other projects, including James Ellroy’s book CLANDESTINE.

Prior to producing and managing, Bogner served as vice president of original programming for Turner Network Television (TNT) for seven years. In this capacity, he was responsible for the development of all long form – including two-hour movies, backdoor pilots, mini-series - for the network’s TNT Originals franchise. Bogner worked on several high-profile projects including Steven Spielberg’s twelve-hour mini INTO THE WEST as well as Stephen King’s SALEM'S LOT. Beyond these projects, Bogner shepherded over 15 movies into production.
Prior to assuming his position at TNT, Bogner spent four years at Paramount’s Cruise-Wagner Productions (Tom Cruise and Paul Wagner), where he spearheaded the acquisition of material, supervised writers and collaborated with directors and talent on such films as MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: 2, WITHOUT LIMITS, VANILLA SKY, and THE OTHERS, which he’s credited with finding and supervising.
Bogner began his career at the Agency for Performing Arts (APA) before becoming a story editor for Michael Douglas’ Big Stick Productions at 20th Century Fox.

Bogner was born in London, England and completed his A-Level exams before moving to LA to attend UCLA, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. He is an avid “football” supporter of Chelsea and has indoctrinated his two kids and wife to support them too.

How it Works

After registering, you will receive instructions on how to submit your material in your order confirmation email. Please be sure to select Career Coaching as your consultation type on your material submission form, so that you are able to submit all supplemental materials on the same form. Provide your script, writer bio, and one-pager of loglines (to include Title, Format, Genre, and Comps with each logline). Be sure to note which loglines are for already drafted screenplays, and which are for scripts that have yet to be completed. After submitting your material, please allow at least 3-4 weeks to receive proposed times for scheduling your call with the exec.

**Please note feature screenplays are limited to 120 pages maximum, hour pilots 65 pages maximum, and single-cam half-hour pilots 35 pages maximum. Please contact terra@roadmapwriters.com for pricing on a consultation for a screenplay exceeding these page limits.

Be sure to familiarize yourself with Roadmap's Code of Conduct.

Questions? Email terra@roadmapwriters.com

MARKETING BONUS! If you receive a rating of Excellent or Virtually Flawless in at least four out of five categories (Logline and Formatting/Ease of Reading are excluded) on your consultation feedback report, we'll do one round of personalized marketing to execs (up to 5) for this screenplay for free!

Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your registration for a refund or Roadmap gift card if you have not yet submitted your material for review. However, once your material has been received by Roadmap, your registration cannot be canceled. Having revised material or a desire to retroactively apply a discount or gift card code are not grounds for cancellation, refunds, or gift card credit. Once your material has been submitted, the only acceptable grounds for cancellation and a refund or gift card credit is an unforeseen, ongoing emergency on the part of either the writer or the exec resulting in more than 6 weeks without any scheduling update from the exec via direct contact or Roadmap, or a sudden change in the exec's ongoing availability. In the instance of an irreconcilable scheduling issue, the writer may still receive a written feedback report from the exec. In this case, the writer is not entitled to a refund or gift card credit as the exec has read the submitted material and provided written feedback in lieu of the call.
