Our Next Steps Clinic is designed to offer you a personalized strategic battle plan for the year ahead!
To participate, writers will submit a one-pager with their bio, loglines, requests/traction they have had and questions about where to go from where they are.
In This 2-Hour Clinic You Will:
- Get tips on how to form a strategy for writing, marketing, and pitching
- Learn how to formulate a plan to help you envision realistic goals for the coming year
- Learn when to work on your craft and when to market your material
- Learn what you should be doing for where you want to go
After graduating from the Radio-Television-Film program at The University of Texas at Austin, Adrian began his career as an intern at Culture Creative Entertainment, where he quickly advanced to Executive Assistant, Literary Coordinator, and eventually Agent. During his time at the agency, he helped develop its well-regarded internship program, built strong relationships with executives and creative talent across the industry, and developed a deep passion for discovering and championing storytellers.
Driven by a desire to work more closely with talent and their material, Adrian transitioned from the agency world to management at Yak Yak MGMT. Over the next several years, he worked closely with writers and directors to develop their careers, creative voices, and industry relationships, while helping them navigate the business of entertainment. His experience across representation and management has given him a broad perspective on both the creative and business sides of the industry, with a particular interest in building careers, developing ideas, and connecting great storytellers with the right opportunities.
