Dramedies featuring BIPOC/queer/minority characters
Kimberly Chiang is a Taiwanese American writer born and raised in Houston, Texas. Growing up as an only child, her best friend was her television set, on which she watched a mixture of early 2000’s classics such as Charmed and Friends, and Taiwanese or Korean dramas. She attended The University of Texas at Austin and has worked in animation, talent management, across almost all departments at studios/production companies, and TV writers’ rooms. When she is not watching TV or writing, she is most likely rescuing or fostering dogs, an obsession she attributes to a failed decades-long attempt at convincing her family to get a dog in her childhood.
