Exec will review your pages and meet with you via zoom for 30 minutes to continue incubating your new project.
Draw, define, direct. Draw: give the taste of the project that entices you - whether that be the dilemma, experience, or affective idea that moved you. Define: trace that draw to the thematic idea it inspired. Orient that idea within a social problem or opportunity begging to be addressed. Then, deliver the premise that grapples with this idea. Direct: if a feature or serial, unfold the story and how that communicates the concept in its most compelling, entertaining, and meaningful development. If Episodic, present the characters that represent perspectives on the idea, then the world & dilemmas they face.
Psychological Dramas; Family Dramas; Either intimate or epic scale; stories designed around the protagonist; themes related to empathy, delving into the relationship between history and the present, and those that challenge established beliefs.
