Dystopian (but prove me wrong!)

Week #1: Introduction and Script Feedback

Date / Time
Summary

Your mentor will read your full script prior to the first session and will give each writer 20-30 min. of notes. Get personalized feedback on your pages and ask your mentor any questions about your script and the industry!

Week #2: Pitch Roundtable

Date / Time
Summary

Your mentor will give feedback on either the 2-3 min or 5-7 min. verbal pitch for one of your projects.

Week #3: Final Script Review

Date / Time
Summary

Your mentor will read another full script prior to the session—it's your choice to get a second round of notes on your script to really make it shine or work on an entirely different script altogether! Following 20-25 min. of feedback for each writer, your mentor will open the floor to group discussion of the revised scripts, then open it up to live Q&A so come with questions!

Week #4: Next Steps Clinic & Pitch Roundtable

Date / Time
Summary

Your mentor will review a one-pager of your bio, loglines, any traction, and questions about where you're at and what you should focus on next when it comes to your screenwriting career. Get actionable career advice on what your next steps should be, plus you'll have the opportunity to get final thoughts on your reworked verbal pitch. This is your last chance for live Q&A, so come with questions!
