Did you know that agents and publishers often decide if they like a manuscript within just a few pages? The opening of your manuscript are where you establish your voice, the tone, the point of view, and your characters. And the opening pages are where you hook the reader and get them emotionally invested in your story so they feel like they can't put the manuscript down.
Join Char Dreyer (Assistant Editor at St. Martin's Publishing Group) for this clinic to get feedback on how to make your opening 10 pages shine!
This Clinic Will Cover:
- POV
- Voice

She focuses on cinematic, plotty, fast-paced fiction.
