Often times a script’s concept is phenomenal and you’ve hooked the exec, but once they get into the meat of the story, things slowly collapse like a flan in a cupboard. What went wrong? A story is a long journey and it helps to have a map.

Roadmap favorite Justin Ross is here to teach you how to craft a strong outline. Your script won't write itself, but this will help give you the solid structural foundation you need so your plot does not fall flat and instead resonates with an audience through three compelling acts.

In This 2-Week Clinic You Will Learn How To:

  • Identify the classical beats of a story
  • Create the main character’s inner needs and exterior challenges
  • Outline the journey of your character, plotting out your three acts and key story points
  • Identify how that journey reflects on your character's emotional arc
  • Set up the third act resolution in a satisfying manner
