Broad teen and young adult comedies for film and streaming, specifically high-concept, character-driven stories set against the backdrop of high school, college, and those first messy years of early adulthood. We're always excited by ensemble casts, fish-out-of-water setups, and big comedic swings with genuine emotional stakes underneath.
Think SUPERBAD, BOOKSMART, AMERICAN PIE, ANIMAL HOUSE, and anything John Hughes, films that are fun but leave you feeling something. On the TV/streaming side, we're drawn to half-hour comedies and limited series in the vein of PEN15, COMMUNITY, THE OFFICE, grounded in a specific world, with a strong comedic voice and real heart.
We're especially excited to hear from writers with authentic perspectives on youth culture, first-gen experiences, underrepresented communities, and stories that haven't been told yet in the teen/YA space. Writers who can balance raunchy humor with emotional honesty are our sweet spot. We're also open to workplace comedies and ensemble formats targeting the 18–30 demo, particularly those with strong franchise potential across film and digital.
