High-concept ideas that can be done at an indie scale. I am prioritizing horror, but also could be action, adventure, sci-fi. My current budget range is $1-$5m. I am interested in higher budget ideas in very selective cases. My focus is on audiences <35. What are the issues they're concerned with, and what stories could serve as catharsis? Colin is an independent film producer and former studio executive with extensive experience in developing, financing, and producing studio and independent films of all genres, for both domestic and international markets.
In his current venture, Honey Super Film, he is developing a slate of high-concept, genre-based, issue-driven movies, including multiple award-winning book IP, horrors, comedies, a documentary, and some bigger-budget outliers.
Previously, he spent nearly a decade at Constantin Film, an international studio that finances, produces, and distributes commercial genre film and TV for global markets. His credits include RESIDENT EVIL (2026) directed by Zach Cregger and based on the massive video game, GOOD LUCK HAVE FUN DON'T DIE (2026) directed by Gore Verbinski, REGRETTING YOU (2025) directed by Josh Boone and based on the bestselling Colleen Hover novel, as well as IN THE LOST LANDS (2025, feature), SMILLA'S SENSE OF SNOW (2025, international TV series), RESIDENT EVIL TV (2022, Netflix series), and SHADOWHUNTERS (2019), based on the major bestselling book series The Mortal Instruments.
At Constantin, he learned to develop material in alignment with tentpole mandates: high-concept, four-quadrant wish fulfillment. Today, he carries that discipline into the independent space, focusing on more personal and radical stories anchored in cultural urgency.
He regularly guest lectures at the University of Texas and mentors emerging filmmakers, and is currently partnered with several non-profits to bring underserved stories and communities to the screen.
He is always on the hunt for the next interesting, delightful story in his inbox.

Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your registration for a refund or Roadmap gift card if you have not yet submitted your material for review. However, once your material has been received by Roadmap, your registration cannot be canceled. Having revised material or a desire to retroactively apply a discount or gift card code are not grounds for cancellation, refunds, or gift card credit. Once your material has been submitted, the only acceptable grounds for cancellation and a refund or gift card credit is an unforeseen, ongoing emergency on the part of either the writer or the exec resulting in more than 6 weeks without any scheduling update from the exec via direct contact or Roadmap, or a sudden change in the exec's ongoing availability. In the instance of an irreconcilable scheduling issue, the writer may still receive a written feedback report from the exec. In this case, the writer is not entitled to a refund or gift card credit as the exec has read the submitted material and provided written feedback in lieu of the call.
