Join Roadmap Writers and Producer, Bobby Hoppey, for a special Zoom. During this session, Bobby will share his creative journey and some helpful advice. In addition, each writer will have 5 minutes to either ask Bobby a question or pitch something to him. Please note that if you are a writing team, you share this 5-minute time slot.

Known for championing talent, Bobby Hoppey has over a decade of experience in film and television development. Bobby’s executive experience includes indie finance shops Complementary Colors, Valparaiso Pictures, and Echo Lake Entertainment where he oversaw their respective in-house project slates.

Bobby’s producorial credits include Neon’s PIG starring Nicolas Cage, and the LGBTQ rom-com STRAIGHT UP, both Independent Spirit Award nominees. His film GRIFFIN IN SUMMER, a subversive coming-of-age comedy directed by Nicholas Colia, won the U.S. Narrative Competition Prize at the 2024 Tribeca Festival and was released last fall by Vertical Entertainment (now streaming on Hulu). Most recently, Bobby wrapped production on Hannah Peterson's forthcoming film, VIA NEGATIVA (now in post, Official Selection of Tribeca Festival '26).

Bobby currently has a number of feature projects in active development through his growing production shingle, Coveside Films. He holds a bachelor's degree in Journalism and Corporate Communications from Elon University.
