Join Roadmap Writers and Manager at Lit Entertainment, Racquelle David, for a special Zoom. During this session, Racquelle will share her creative journey and some helpful advice. In addition, each writer will have 5 minutes to either ask Racquelle a question or pitch something to her. Please note that if you are a writing team, you share this 5-minute time slot.
Raquelle David is a producer and literary manager at Lit Entertainment in Los Angeles, California. Hailing from Sydney, Australia, Raquelle has a ten year career spanning both television and feature production. She has held positions at Goalpost Pictures, Screen NSW, the Seven Network and Rhombus Media in Canada. In 2015 Raquelle produced the short film THE GUESTS written and directed by Shane Danielsen which was nominated for a Palme d’Or Best Short Film at the Cannes Film Festival and has played at countless festivals around the world. The same year REG MAKES CONTACT garnered her a Screen Producers Australia nomination for Best Short Film and was also nominated for a 2015 Australian Academy Cinema and Television Arts Award (AACTA). In 2016 she Executive Produced Joseph Sims-Dennett’s feature film Observance was hailed “One of the Most Chilling Experiences” by The Hollywood Reporter and has sold to numerous territories including US, Australia and UK.
Currently at Lit Entertainment, Raquelle's clients include Jenny Yang (THE GORDITA CHRONICLES), Amos Mac (GOSSIP GIRL), Dani Parker (MIDNIGHT MASS), Perry Blackshear (THEY LOOK LIKE PEOPLE), Aisling Chin-Yee (THE REST OF US) Johnny Ma (TO LIVE TO SING - Directors Fortnight, Cannes) and Jovanka.
