Terri Alkire is an award-winning screenwriter specializing in uplifting holiday romantic comedies that celebrate second chances, fresh starts, and the joy of finding love after forty. Her screenplays have placed as a Winner, Top Ten Finalist, Finalist, and Semi-Finalist in multiple Holiday and Family feature screenplay competitions. Terri studied screenwriting at UCLA and continues to refine her craft through mentorships with Hallmark and Netflix screenwriters, along with seminars and retreats focused on developing Christmas and romantic comedy features. She is trained in both three-act and nine-act story structure, bringing a strong foundation to her feel-good storytelling. She writes from her home in Los Angeles alongside her loyal dog Monet, who faithfully protects the house from leaf blowers and Amazon deliveries. Terri is passionate about creating stories that remind audiences it's never too late for love, laughter, and a new chapter.
