Sean is a WGA TV writer and script consultant who recently wrote for GOOSEBUMPS: The Vanishing on Disney+/Hulu starring David Schwimmer. A Glendora, California native, he brings diverse perspectives to his storytelling as a half-Mexican, half-white, and 100% homosexual writer.
Prior to TV writing, Sean worked in documentary production and nonprofit marketing, collaborating with figures like Charlize Theron, Jane Goodall, and the Dalai Lama. This background taught him how to craft compelling narratives across different formats and audiences.
Sean has been fortunate to receive industry recognition, including being selected twice as a Mentee for the Read Latinx Writers Initiative, becoming a finalist for NBC's Writers on the Verge, and is an alum of the 2023 Disney TV Writing Program. He has also pitched projects to various studios and production companies.
Through his script consulting work, Sean enjoys helping fellow writers develop their ideas and navigate the industry. Having successfully gone through multiple fellowship programs himself, he understands both the challenges and opportunities that come with these competitive applications.
