Collin Watts is a Los Angeles-based screenwriter and producer with a passion for creating genre films that resonate emotionally with audiences while still focusing on the fun of blockbusters. Originally from Illinois, he holds a degreefrom Florida State University and is a graduate of the UCLA Professional Screenwriting Program. Collin is repped byGM Management by Ram Getz and Michael Mortensen.
One of Collin’s projects, Hot Seat, an action-thriller he co-wrote was released with all-star cast including Mel Gibson,Kevin Dillon, and Shannon Doherty. It reached the top ten of Amazon Prime’s most viewed films. He also co-wrote andproduced This Land, a socially relevant horror film. Collin’s latest film is “Calamity Jane,” a female drive action western,that was featured on Tubi and in a Superbowl commercial starring Emily Bett Rickards, Tim Rozon, and Stephen Amell.
In addition to writing, Collin has produced "Viper" starring Peter Facinelli, Neal McDonough, Jonathan Rhys Meyers,and Stephen Dorff. As well as “Icefall” starring Joel Kinnaman, Danny Huston, Frida Gustavsson, and Graham Greene.
