Carrie Lynn Certa is a two-time Emmy-nominated producer and entertainment executive whose career spans television series, independent feature films, live events, digital media, and short-form content. Through URSA Productions, she has led productions across the United States and internationally, with projects taking her to Ethiopia, India, France, and the Philippines. Known for her ability to balance creative vision with practical execution, Carrie has worked with major networks, studios, brands, and independent filmmakers, bringing extensive experience in production management, budgeting, and content creation. Her writing debut, Happily Ever After, was produced off-Broadway through the prestigious Samuel French One Act Play Competition.
A dedicated industry leader and educator, Carrie served 12 years on the AP Board of the Producers Guild of America, including two years as Vice President of the guild. In 2020, she received the PGA's AP Council Commitment Award for her work developing educational programming for producers. Recognized as one of Gloria Feldt's "50 Women Who Can Change Media and Entertainment," Carrie continues to mentor emerging professionals, teach producing workshops, and consult on film, television, digital media, and live event projects while developing new productions through URSA Productions.
