More about Nicholas Bogner
A graduate of UCLA with a BA in English Literature, Nicholas Bogner joined management/production company Affirmative Entertainment (A NICE GIRL LIKE YOU) to start their lit department in 2008. Since then, he has sold features and pilots to the likes of Paramount, Amblin, Sony, Blumhouse, Intrepid, and Walden Media and pilots to ABC, FX, USA, MTV, CW, E!, Fox Studios, Fox 21, TWC, Relativity, Sy-Fy, eOne, and NBC. Nicholas began his career at the Agency for Performing Arts (MONSOON; THE BASEMENT) before becoming a story editor for Michael Douglas’ Bigstick Productions at 20th Century Fox (AD ASTRA; FORD V FERRARI). Nicholas then spent two years as a vice president of Freddie Fields Productions, where he worked on the development of GLORY. Prior to producing and managing, Nicholas served as vice president of original programming for Turner Network Television for seven years where he was responsible for the development of all long-form projects for the network’s TNT Originals franchise including Stephen Spielberg’s INTO THE WEST and Stephen King’s SALEM’S LOT. He also spent four years at Cruise/Wagner Productions (Tom Cruise and Paul Wagner’s company), where he spearheaded the acquisition of material, supervised writers, and collaborated with directors and talent on such films as MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE II, VANILLA SKY, and THE OTHERS, which he’s credited with finding and supervising. Nicholas is currently attached to several projects, including James Ellroy’s book CLANDESTINE, Amblin feature LARRY (based on a client's previous short), a feature at New Line with Atomic Monster producing, and Imagine producing a film at Netflix. Nicholas also recently had three writers named on the 2019 Hit List.
